We will collect and process the following data about you:

  • Information you give us. This is information about you that you give us by filling in forms on our sites or by corresponding with us by phone, e-mail or otherwise. It includes information you provide when you register to use our sites, submit a Project Scope or when you report a problem with our sites. The information you give us may include your name, address, e-mail address and phone number, personal profile, curriculum vitae and any other information we reasonably require in the course of acting as an employment agency.     • Information about your health, including any medical condition, health and sickness records.

    • Information about criminal convictions and offences.


  • Information we collect about you. With regard to each of your visits to our sites we will automatically collect the following information:

    • technical information, including the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet, your login information, device or browser type and version, the webpage you visited before coming to our sites and identifiers associated with your devices.;

    • location information - your devices (depending on your settings) may transmit location information to our sites.


  • Information we receive from other sources. We are working closely with third parties (including, for example, business partners, sub-contractors in technical, payment and delivery services, advertising networks, analytics providers, search information providers, credit reference agencies). We will notify you when we receive information about you from them and the purposes for which we intend to use that information.

We use information held about you in the following ways:

  • Information you give to us.

We will use this information:

  • if you have registered as a Consultant, to store your details in our Consultant database which we will use to search for vacancies we are handling. If you appear suitable for a particular vacancy, our consultants will try to contact you by phone or in writing to confirm your suitability and if suitable to invite you to apply. If the client wants to take your application forward our consultants will manage the process for you. Your CV will not be forwarded to any third party including our employer clients unless you specifically authorise us (either verbally or in writing) that we can do so. The lawful basis for such processing is that it is necessary for the performance of a contract to which you are party;

  • to contact you when carrying out research such as salary surveys and to ensure your registered information is up to date. The lawful basis for such processing is that it is necessary for the purposes of our legitimate interests in keeping up to date with the recruitment market and administering our services.

  • to carry out our obligations arising from any contracts entered into between you and us and to provide you with the information, products and services that you request from us. The lawful basis for such processing is that it is necessary for the performance of a contract to which you are party;

  • to provide you with information about other services we offer that are similar to those that you have already purchased or enquired about. The lawful basis for such processing is consent;

  • to provide you, or permit selected third parties to provide you, with information about services we feel may interest you. If you are an existing customer, we will only contact you by electronic means (e-mail or SMS) with information about services similar to those which have previously been provided to you. If you are a new customer, and where we permit selected third parties to use your data, we (or they) will contact you by electronic means only if you have consented to this. If you do not want us to use your data in this way, or to pass your details on to third parties for marketing purposes, please tick the relevant box situated on the form on which we collect your data (the client or consultant registration form). The lawful basis for such processing is consent;

  • to notify you about changes to our service. The lawful basis for such processing is that it is necessary for the performance of a contract to which you are party;

  • to ensure that content from our sites is presented in the most effective manner for you and for your computer. The lawful basis for such processing is that it is necessary for the purposes of our legitimate interests in administering our Sites.

  • in respect of the “special categories” of sensitive personal information referred to above:

    • In limited circumstances, with your explicit written consent.

    • Where we need to carry out our legal obligations or exercise rights in connection with your assignment.

    • Where it is needed in the public interest.

    • Less commonly, we may process this type of information where it is needed in relation to legal claims or where it is needed to protect your interests (or someone else's interests) and you are not capable of giving your consent, or where you have already made the information public.

We have in place an appropriate policy document and safeguards which we are required by law to maintain when processing such data.

The data that we collect from you will be transferred and stored within the European Economic Area ("EEA"). Our directors may where necessary access your data while outside of the EEA via secure internet connection in secure surroundings on personal laptops and devices that have adequate security measures in place to prevent unauthorised processing. We will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this privacy policy.

All information you provide to us is stored on the secure servers of Recruitee B.V. (Company number 63881829),Herengracht 182, 1016BR, Amsterdam. Information about their data security policies can be found here

Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our sites; any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorised access.



You have the right to ask us not to process your personal data for marketing purposes. We will inform you (before collecting your data) and obtain your consent if we intend to use your data for such purposes (unless in respect of our own marketing if you are an existing customer and have not opted-out of such communications) or if we intend to disclose your information to any third party for such purposes.
