Missoma, a British designer jewellery brand and market leader in demi-fine contemporary jewellery came to By Day looking for a HR Consultant. Named one of the Fast Track 100 by the Sunday Times, they had cultivated a loyal following throughout the UK and abroad and needed an experienced hand to help them with their fast growing team. We introduced them to Emma, who had extensive Director level HR experience and a strong track record of operating and leading within complex Corporate organisations, including HR Lead at Pfizer where she oversaw 26 countries with a total revenue of $1.5 billion dollars. Emma initially created and implemented all HR Policies and Procedures and subsequently stayed on to offer high level HR advice wherever needed. A year and a half later, Emma still spends a few days a month working with them, ensuring that their HR approach continues to adjust to the needs of the business.
SISTER & CO SKIN FOOD
Sister & Co Skin Food, a luxury natural skincare and beauty company and key player in the industry, came to By Day looking for a Sales Consultant. With an impressive list of stockists including Space NK, ASOS, Liberty and Selfridges, they were looking to grow and wanted an experienced and connected Consultant to join their team. We introduced them to Victoria, who with over 10 years experience in both retail and wholesale was the perfect fit. Victoria worked with the brand for 2 days a week and together with the management team, solidified and increased their sales. Her results driven yet personable approach ensured that she not only became an indispensable part of the team, but also made a significant positive contribution.
ACCOUNTING FOR ENERGY
Accounting for Energy, the UK’s leading firm specialising exclusively in renewable energy land rent audits came to By Day looking for a copywriter with a business development background. Dedicated to ensuring that those who have invested in renewables receive full and accurate returns from the green energy produced, they wanted someone to help them with the collateral for their corporate client development. We introduced them to Bonamy, who with over 20 years experience in global business development, now specialising in helping businesses grow by delivering insights from their data. Bonamy spent the majority of her career working at Hill+Knowlton Strategies, a leading international communications consultancy, culminating in the role of Senior VP/Global Business Development Director. She reviewed and analysed their current collateral and results, facilitated a workshop with the management team to streamline the approach and finally implemented the agreed changes. This short project was targeted to exactly the needs of the business, the benefits of which are still being reaped.
